New York City - Internal Air Quality pilot

.

Help set NYC’s first IAQ benchmark

Upload your air quality readings from your office sensors (7–14 days of CO₂, PM₂.₅)
We’ll anonymize it, run a quick quality check, and pay you

$50 bounty

$50 for each of the first 10 valid uploads (PayPal). Prefer no cash? Skip the bounty and get the final NYC benchmark free.

50% revenue share

After validation, earn 50% per sensor on every pack sold.

Anonymized & NDA-backed

No building names or tenant data. We strip identifiers and publish only after 5+ sites.

How it works

UPLOAD

Drag-and-drop your exported readings via Dropbox (no login).

QUALITY CHECK

We run plausibility checks.

PAYOUT

Approved files get paid within 24h via PayPal.

What to upload

  • Required columns: timestamp | CO2(ppm) | PM2.5(µg/m3).

  • Timestamp format: ISO 8601; local time or UTC both fine.

  • Duration: 14 consecutive days preferred; 7 days accepted.

  • Optional columns: TVOC, RH, temperature.

Example table

timestampCO2 (ppm)PM2.5 (µg/m3)

2025-07-10T09:05:00-046427
2025-07-10T09:10:00-045889

We handle timezone normalization — just be consistent within your file.

Quality check snapshot

  • Reality check: Plausibility scan for ranges & weird patterns.

  • Time sanity: Timestamps normalization.

  • Proof photo (optional): If flagged, we might ask for a sensor display snapshot.

Note: If something looks off, we'll email you for a quick fix.

FAQ

  • What is this and who are you?
PackDeli is an independent data initiative. This pilot builds an anonymized micro-benchmark of indoor CO₂ and PM₂.₅ across NYC offices. We run a simple NDA and lightweight QC to keep data trustworthy.

  • Do home, retail, or schools count or only offices?
Offices are the focus of this pilot. Non-office sites (schools, retail, etc.) are welcome and tagged separately; they’ll be published as their own cohort once each reaches ≥5 sites.

  • I’m not the building owner—can I upload (tenant, FM, consultant, vendor)?
Yes—if you have the right to share the logs. Vendors should make sure their client is aware and comfortable.

  • Do you pay per sensor or per site?
Per site. One bounty per approved site; extra sensors from the same site improve QC but don’t add extra bounties.

  • If the 10 bounties are gone, what happens?
You can still contribute and earn revenue share per approved site.

  • How does revenue share work?
We allocate 50% of net pack revenue to contributors and split it equally per approved site included in that pack. You’ll receive simple statements and regular payouts.

  • I don’t use PayPal—any other payout methods?
Yes. We can pay by bank transfer (e.g., SEPA/Wise). Tell us your preference via email.

  • How do I export logs?
In most dashboards: Export CSV → select last 7–14 days. No edits are usually needed.

  • How do you define a “site”?
One physical workplace address. If you think distinct HVAC zones at one address should count separately, mention it in the upload note and we’ll advise after QC review.

  • Should I upload one file per sensor or a single file for all sensors?
Best: one CSV per sensor. If you combine, include a sensor_id column (and optional zone/floor).

  • Can I ask for deletion of raw logs?
You can email us anytime to request deletion of your raw upload.
